The Bloom -
I never intended to create a job out from what I do. Everything started as a little "public diary" but eventually brands started to feel curious and I just became a content creator. I've always worked at fashion and advertising so I guess it was a natural step!
The Weeds -
Working through social media has pros and cons. Sometimes you feel that you never disconnect from your job and it's hard to keep track with everything that goes on. Eventually you see people that doesn't tag your work, make an inappropriate use of it and so on, I think it's the price that you need to pay when you expose yourself in this massive world. I try not to think about it and don't waist time or energy in reporting it, because I think that when your work it's powerful it will speak for itself.
The Drive -
One of the things I love most about my work it's working for brands and people around the globe and get exciting challenges everyday. Having the opportunity to tell a story through my eyes and connect with people it's amazing. You have the chance to send a more viral message out there and watching people been identified with my work it's the biggest satisfaction in the world because it feels that you are contributing in a beautiful globalism.
A Day in the Life -
Having a very organized agenda it's the key. I work for companies in different continents and therefore different time zones. So depending on the projects some weeks I start working very early and some other weeks I work until late. The best part about this is that my day by day it's quite flexible, so I can usually go to the gym or buy the best pieces of avocado in the morning haha. And since I work at home, I enjoy a lot listening to my favorite music very loud while I dance like a maniac, haha
The Bloom -
I think it was when all my clients started to repeat. That moment when you feel that you have connected with them and have accomplished your job until the point that they want to work with you again. That feeling is magical.
What it Takes -
Be organized, have experience working for people and learning from your leaders, be ambitious, self taught, curious, true to yourself and never give up because each step of the way is there to taught you a new lesson that will make you better.
What I Wish I Knew -
Be patient.
Wild Flower Advice -
You only regret the things that you don't do, so go for it!
